When you hit an enemy with this weapon, you can choose to apply the effects of the Bestow Curse spell on them. The enemy can make a Charisma saving throw against DC 12 to avoid the effect. An enemy that succeeds on this saving throw cannot be affected again for the next 24 hours. If the target succeeds on the saving throw, you can attempt to apply it to another target. Once the effect has been applied to a target, you cannot use this ability again until after your next long rest.
